We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to undertake the role of Tree Surgery Team Ground Operative within Southampton City Council’s Tree Surgery Team.
You will possess a professional approach to tree management and impeccable working standards. You will work within a tree surgery team to provide a visible and responsive front-line service to the local community. Your work will help to make Southampton a safer, healthier, cleaner and more attractive city.
You will have experience of working in a team in in a fast-paced working environment.
You will be competent and experienced in the use of chainsaw use on the ground. You must have a full, clean driving licence. A towing licence, a certificate of competence in the use of woodchippers and a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in arboriculture or allied discipline is desirable.

Salary: The salary band for this role is £28,792 - £31,022. The
starting salary is £28,792 with annual progression through the salary bands.
