Description
This post is ideal for someone who wishes to pursue a career in neurology. There will be support and supervision by the consultants, to ensure that competencies are achieved in diagnosis and management of neurological conditions.
You will join a team of two other neurology IMT trainees, with cross cover for absence.
All ST3+ trainees should attempt to attend and present patients at relevant multidisciplinary team meetings.
The successful candidates will be expected to work 09:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday and work across all three sites.

- Ensure referrals are seen promptly, discussed with the consultant, and shared between you and the relevant consultants if you get too busy.
- Ensure the online referrals system is checked at least twice daily or delegated to a colleague.
- Attend clinics
- Assist and manage IMT trainee queries
- Manage clinical fellow clinics
- Engage in audits to improve the department
- Lumbar punctures Lumbar puncture clinics
