Description
For a quarter of a century, the Jellycat family have brought joy, wonder and playful fun to people of all ages, in every part of the world. Utterly original and in a class of their own, they are currently among the most loved and collected toys of their kind. How has this gentle tribe endeared themselves to so many? Perhaps it is their whimsical expressions. Or the deliciously soft fabrics. Or the beautiful way in which they sit in your hand. Whatever it is, there is something magical and unmistakeable about each one of them.

We’re planning a big, exciting leap forward for our “Sharing Joy” CSR and charity mission across the UK and globally - and we’re looking for a passionate manager to lead the way.

This is a brand-new role for someone who wants to make a big difference and who loves combining big-picture thinking with hands-on delivery. You’ll design meaningful programmes, build strong partnerships, and ensure every initiative is engaging, credible, and well governed.

Reporting to the Corporate Communications Director, you’ll team up with colleagues across PR & Fanbase, Customer Service, Supply Chain, HR, Marketing, and Leadership - plus our wonderful charity partners - to help spread joy where it’s needed most

We’re looking for someone with proven experience, unstoppable energy, and exceptional communication skills - a natural leader who gets things done and inspires others along the way.

You'll be;

CSR Strategy:

  • Bringing together our CSR activities across supply chain, HR, design, sales, and other teams into a clear, cohesive programme.
  • Working with the Leadership Team to define priorities, objectives, and areas for improvement.
  • Reviewing and evolving the CSR strategy to ensure it remains ambitious and achievable.
  • Translating big ideas into practical actions across community benefit, sustainability, responsible sourcing, and future development.
  • Embedding CSR thinking further into everyday business decisions by working closely with cross-functional teams.

Charity & Community Partnerships:

  • Creating a process to select UK charity partners that share our purpose and bring joy to communities who need it most.
  • Building and managing long-term relationships with our charity partners, ensuring shared goals are delivered effectively.
  • Overseeing budgets, governance, and compliance with the highest ethical standards.
  • Evaluating and responding to charity requests thoughtfully and coordinate product donations with warehouse teams.
  • Working with Leadership and HR to develop employee fundraising, volunteering, and engagement initiatives.

Storytelling & Engagement:

  • Creating clear, upbeat (and accurate) updates and reports on progress and the joy we have shared.
  • Bringing our CSR and charity work to life internally, inspiring employees to get involved and feel proud of the contribution they are making.

You'll have;

  • Relevant experience in CSR management.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to develop, and build from the ground up, company-wide CSR and charity programmes, and grow third party partnerships.
  • Financial literacy and experience managing budgets.
  • A passion for community engagement and making a positive difference.
  • Ideally some experience as part of an in-house team for consumer or retail brands; knowledge of UK charity sector; familiarity with CSR measurement.
  • The ability to understand how joy can be a force for good, thinks strategically but loves getting hands-on, and brings energy, creativity, and warmth to everything you do.
