The Role
The Lush Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing business as a whole and driving improvements in the way the production facility runs.
- Develop and execute an effective manufacturing strategy to support current sales, profitability targets and future growth whilst ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
- Oversee operations of the production floor as required to identify any training opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Maintain a safe working environment free of risks to team members and assist the development of the company’s workplace health and safety program, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Working with and maintaining GMP standards as a self certified manufacturer.
- Motivate and train the team to prioritise and schedule production in line with store demand, and drive accountability with a focus on local and global KPI’s.
The role requires someone with strong communication and people skills to get the most of the team. We are looking for a skilled individual who shares our values, is highly motivated and has strong analytical ability.
- Has at least 5+ years’ experience within the manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills and a proven ability to lead a team.
- Has experience within the areas of regulatory compliance, operations and equipment maintenance.
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, an ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Displays an ability to manage priorities and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.
