SeeByte, global market leader in the development of smart software for maritime robotic autonomous systems are looking to hire a Programme Manager to join our team. This is a very exciting opportunity to support the Programme Director, leading on customer-facing programmes and multiple projects in a complex environment.
The UK Programme Manager is responsible for leading customer-facing programmes and associated projects at SeeByte, ensuring delivery against contractual commitments, schedules and budgets. The role provides structured oversight of delivery while maintaining strong, trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. This role will require defence or defence related, MOD or Government related experience. Experience delivering software projects is desirable but not essential.
You will work closely with engineering and commercial teams to ensure alignment between commercial delivery and technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure contractual and commercial commitments are met predictably and transparently
· Develop and maintain programme plans, schedules, and risk registers
· Provide delivery governance, reporting, and programme oversight
· Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across projects
· Coordinate delivery across engineering teams, technical leadership, and external partners
· Build and maintain strong customer and partner relationships
· Ensure programme delivery remains aligned with SeeByte’s technical and product strategy
· Contribute to future business development opportunities associated with the programme
· Understand and deliver against customer roadmaps and long-term commercial strategy
