We're currently partnered with a FTSE 100 business who are looking to bring on a UK Tax Manager
who is ready to take the next step in a transforming corporate environment. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing Group Tax function at a pivotal moment in its evolution.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the UK compliance and reporting landscape, working closely with senior stakeholders and supporting the organisation through a period of significant change. The role offers broad exposure across global functions and the chance to modernise and enhance existing tax processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting & Controls: Support half‑year and year‑end tax provisioning (IFRS), maintain SOX controls, and prepare UK statutory tax disclosures.
- Compliance Ownership: Manage corporation tax returns for a large UK group, including SAO, CIR and RDEC considerations.
- Cross‑Border Oversight: Coordinate non‑UK returns with advisors and manage UK withholding tax and residency requirements.
- Process Transformation: Work with Tax Technology to automate and streamline reporting using tools such as Alphatax, Longview and PowerBI/AI solutions.
- Advisory Support: Provide technical input on transactions, rationalisations and HMRC queries.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Finance, Legal and regional teams, and support Transfer Pricing where required.
About You
- Professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CA/CTA or equivalent).
- 2–3 years’ UK tax experience (in‑house desirable).
- Confident communicator able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Self‑starter with strong attention to detail and ownership mindset.
