About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer on a contract basis to support the design and development of user-centric digital experiences. This role will focus primarily on mobile applications and requires a strong background in the financial services or banking industry.
You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design intuitive, high-quality interfaces that meet both user needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive and engaging user experiences for mobile and web applications.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs using industry-standard tools.
- Develop and maintain consistent design patterns and contribute to existing design systems.
- Present and communicate design concepts clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure smooth implementation of designs.
- Apply a user-centered design approach throughout the product development lifecycle.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on mobile applications.
- Proven experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design process, problem-solving ability, and end-to-end project execution.
- In-depth knowledge of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing usage data.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working within design systems is a plus.
