Balfour Beatty Multi-Utility (BBMU) is a multi-discipline utility business specialising in the design, delivery and management of utility works for both Balfour Beatty Group businesses and external clients. As we continue to expand our capabilities across the UK, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Utilities Co-ordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of major and complex infrastructure schemes.
About The Role
As a Utilities Co-ordinator, you will be at the heart of multi-utility delivery, working directly with Utility Companies (UCs), designers, clients, internal teams and key stakeholders. Reporting to the Utility Lead, you will support the full lifecycle of schemes—from feasibility through to handover—ensuring utilities works are effectively coordinated, compliant, and aligned with project objectives.
This is a critical role that combines technical understanding, stakeholder management and programme oversight. You will contribute to the development of multi-utility designs, assist in shaping delivery strategies, and help ensure our works maximise value while minimising risk.

What you'll be doing
- Creating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as clients, utility companies, and internal and external design teams.
Ideally, Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate The Following
- CSCS Card Holder.
- MS Office proficient and experience with Bluebeam. CAD familiarity preferable.
- CDM Familiarity.
- Positioned suited to highly organised individuals.
- Demonstrable experience with utilities environment.
- Applicant will take a proactive and autonomous approach to work, including making
significant decisions to inform the direction of a project from a commercial,
programme and design perspective.
