About CTI

Join 150+ strategists and specialists who refuse to settle, creating bold digital experiences for ambitious brands since 2004. We're a full-service digital agency delivering strategic consultancy, web development, and digital marketing to drive demand online. Using over two decades of industry experience, we provide next-gen solutions as part of lasting partnerships with hundreds of clients from Chester Zoo and Zip World to Balfour Beatty and Mind.

What makes us different
  • We break new ground. You'll work on innovative projects using the latest technologies before they hit the mainstream. We celebrate calculated risks and learn fast from every experiment.
  • We get stuck in together. Genuine collaboration across all departments. Your ideas matter here, regardless of your role or how long you've been with us.
  • We stay curious. Continuous learning is essential. You'll have dedicated time and budget for development, working alongside industry experts who are genuinely invested in your success.
  • We own it. Full accountability and autonomy over your work means you'll build client relationships, see real-world impact, and be recognised when you go the extra mile.
  • The TeamYou will be joining the Strategy (UX & Design) department - a team that connects business strategy, data, technology, and human experience into a single flow of value.

We don’t just "make things look good". We are sensemakers and challengers who believe in asking "why" before we jump to solutions. Our team moves fluidly between research and delivery, conversation and creation, pixels and purpose. You’ll be working alongside Senior and Lead designers who will help you stretch into strategic thinking, ensuring that while you own your craft, you never have to go it alone.

    What you’ll be doing

As an Experience Designer at CTI, you’ll turn direction into tangible journeys and insights into interfaces that people can actually use. You will balance user needs with delivery realities, ensuring our work is smarter, simpler, and impossible to ignore.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Turn complexity into clarity:
You will own and deliver key parts of design projects, translating strategy and research into intuitive user journeys, wireframes, and polished high-fidelity interfaces.
  • Build scalable systems: You won't just design screens; you will design within and contribute to structured design systems to ensure our work is scalable and consistent.
  • Ask the difficult questions: Before opening Figma, you’ll help clarify problems, goals, and constraints, ensuring we understand the "why" behind the work.
  • Champion the user: You will support usability testing and iteration, using feedback and data to refine your designs and ensure accessibility and inclusive principles are embedded in our practice.
  • Collaborate across squads: You’ll work as part of a cross-disciplinary squad—collaborating closely with Product, Development, CRO, and QA to ensure your design intent carries through to the final build.
  • Tell the story: You will help clients and colleagues understand the rationale behind your decisions through clear storytelling and presentation.

  • What experience you need to be successful

We are looking for a craftsperson who cares deeply about execution—every flow, state, and screen. You should be confident in UX/UI delivery and ready to deepen your impact across wider ecosystems.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
    • A portfolio of end-to-end thinking: We want to see work that moves from journeys and flows through to polished UI, not just isolated screenshots.
    • Modern Figma mastery: You have current skills in Figma, specifically working with component-based systems, auto-layout, variables, and collaborative files.
    • Solid UX foundations: A strong understanding of core UX principles, responsive design, and interaction best practices.
    • Knowledge of Accessibility: You have a working knowledge of accessibility standards (ideally WCAG 2.2) and ethical design principles.
    • Collaborative fluency: You enjoy connecting disciplines rather than working in isolation and have experience co-creating with developers and strategists.
    • Research familiarity: Experience supporting or participating in research (like user interviews or usability testing) and the ability to communicate those insights simply.
  • Curiosity and Adaptability: You learn fast, evolve constantly, and see change as an opportunity to experiment with new tools (including AI-assisted design).
  • What sets you apart:
    • You’re a Sensemaker: You find clarity in chaos and help others see it too.
    • You’re a Connector: You see how people, data, and ideas fit together.
