Are you ready to put pets first? At CVS Vets, we make pets a priority every day!
We're on the lookout for a dynamic and passionate animal enthusiast to step into the role of a Veterinary Receptionist at our Highcroft Veterinary Centre.
Role Details
Location: To be based at our Shirehapton site, with cover at our Eastville and Ashton sites too
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 39.13 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday with a 1:4 share in the Saturday rota
Monday, Wednesday and Friday to be based at our Shirehampton site, Tuesday to be based at our Eastville site
Saturdays to be based at either Shirehapton, Eastville and possibly our Ashton site when needed
There is a need for flexibility to cover all 3 sites when needed and the flexibility to cover 1 Bank Holiday per year

About The Role
- Manage Communication: Handle incoming calls and schedule appointments efficiently
- Inquiries Resolution: Respond to queries via phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism
- Previous experience as a Receptionist is a must; experience in a veterinary setting is a bonus!
- Resilience and the ability to handle emotional situations with grace
- Strong communication skills paired with genuine empathy
- Outstanding customer service skills and experience with the public
- Positive attitude and superior teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
