Description
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Reception Supervisor to join our team at Bath Vets.
If you have a passion for customer service, experience in a reception or administration role, and are keen to make a difference in a busy veterinary environment, we’d love to hear from you.
In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and interacting with clients in a welcoming and professional manner, ensuring every visit is a positive experience. You will manage appointment bookings, handle queries, take payments, dispense medication, and support general administrative tasks. You will also manage account queries, chase outstanding debt, process payments, complete end-of-day banking, and monitor petty cash records.
As Reception Supervisor, you will help manage, lead, develop and support members of the reception team, working closely with the Hospital Manager, Practice Manager and Clinical Directors to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the reception area. You will also support the wider team with any additional administrative tasks as required.

You should possess strong administrative and computer skills and be able to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting. We’re looking for someone who is a professional and confident communicator, able to interact seamlessly with both clients and colleagues.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position working 40 hours (Monday - Friday), plus 1 in 4 weekends (5-hour shift).
