We are working with a leading global investment bank looking to hire a Vice President within its FIG investment banking team in London, with a focus on the insurance sector.
The role sits within a well-established FIG franchise advising insurers and financial institutions on M&A and strategic transactions across Europe. The VP will play a key role in transaction execution, client interaction and managing junior team members, while supporting senior bankers on origination and strategic advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of M&A and advisory transactions across the insurance sector
- Oversee financial modelling, valuation and preparation of client materials
- Manage Analysts and Associates across multiple deal workstreams
- Support pitch processes and client relationship development
- Work closely with senior bankers and external advisors throughout the deal lifecycle
Candidate Profile
- 6–9 years’ experience in investment banking within a Financial Institutions team
- Exposure to insurance clients or transactions
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and transaction execution experience
- Comfortable managing workstreams and junior team members
