Description And Requirements

Skanska Building Services is at the forefront of facilities management, trusted by clients to deliver excellence every time. One of our flagship contracts is with the Ministry of Defence at a major base near Watford – a complex, high-profile environment where we provide a full range of hard, soft, and technical FM services.

We’re now seeking a Visitor Centre Administrator to join the VC team that between them provide a 24 hours per day service. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a premier experience every time, as well as ensuring very strict security processes are adhered to.

You Will :

  • Be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a premier experience every time
  • Process all authorised visitors in accordance with authority regulations
  • Issue visitor passes within 10 minutes of arrival at the respective Visitor reception Point
  • Participate in a shift rota – 2 days on, 2 nights on, 2 days off and 2 on standby. Periods of normal working days (Mon-Fri) are also worked periodically dependent upon current rota. This will include some weekends, bank holidays and Christmas periods (1 in every 3 years dependent of shifts)
  • Provide Site Asset Sweep during silent hours
  • Be joining a team with progression opportunities
  • Be part of 5S keeping the work environment safe, tidy and looking welcoming to a premier site

  • We Need :

    • Excellent customer care skills
    • Data entry experience
    • Fluent in spoken English and written skills
    • Ability to pass high security clearance. In order to pass, both UK and non-UK subjects must have lived in the UK in the last 5 years
    • Team Player
    • Calm under pressure
    • Professional

    This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. You should be aware that certain levels of clearance or specific projects and/or sites have UK residency requirements; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residency requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and would not be eligible to undertake this role.
