What will I be doing?

Giving someone a new home to live in!

That really is the main purpose of this role. When tenants vacate our properties, you’ll be responsible for important inspections and works that ensure the property is fixed back up to standard, so that the next tenant has a good quality home to move into.

To achieve this, you will use your surveying skills and knowledge of building repairs to:

  • Undertake property inspections to determine a required schedule of works.
  • Undertake tenant return and recharge process.
  • Carry out post-work inspections of void repaired properties to ensure a good quality of work has been undertaken.

Simply put, you’ll be involved in the whole void repairs process from start to finish, ensuring quality standards are met throughout. You’ll do this while liaising with in-house teams, external contractors and tenants.

This is an ideal role for someone who likes to be a proactive, on-site individual. You will need to be frequently attending the properties and actively managing the process for multiple houses at one time. Flexibility will be key to this, alongside a good ability to manage several projects at once.

There will also be opportunities to check in with the new tenants to ensure that they are satisfied with the works provided – which, if you’re the right person, they almost always will be! It’s highly rewarding to see someone move into a new home with high satisfaction, especially when you are the person responsible for it!

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be.

A few of the key requirements are:
