Responsibilities
Customer Engagement and Research
- Collaborate with enterprise customers and developers to understand their needs and pain points through various methods (feedback, focus groups, interviews, conferences).
- Translate customer insights into a prioritized product roadmap.
- Design and specify features, including defining success metrics.
- Propose and prioritize new initiatives, balancing short-term and long-term investments.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution.
- Navigate trade-offs and challenges during the development process.
- Lead project planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure product launches are data-driven, with clear metrics and hypotheses.
- Share successes and learnings internally and externally.
- Embrace a hands-on, startup mindset to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation.
- Mentor and develop product management talent within the team.
- Experience: 8+ years in product management, with a proven track record of leading successful products and teams.
- Technical Background: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred.
- Domain Expertise: Experience with AI/ML, developer-facing products (e.g., APIs), or large-scale systems.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams, drive strategic initiatives, and influence stakeholders.
- Mindset: Scrappy, startup mentality with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
- Background in engineering, machine learning, algorithms, or statistics.
- Experience in a high-growth startup or tech company.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
