We are recruiting for a Warehouse Apprentice at Croydon Warehouse, giving you a fantastic opportunity to grow your Facilities and Warehouse management skills.
Being an apprentice is an exciting challenge – often demanding but hugely rewarding. You will be training within a heritage environment, working alongside and learning from our experienced and dedicated team, developing skills and knowledge.
The role will involve supporting the Warehouse Manager and developing knowledge of all areas of Warehouse operations in a busy environment, including using computer systems and the receiving & processing of retail goods. This role will require you to communicate effectively with your colleagues regarding planned deliveries.
Whilst Studying Towards Your Apprenticeship You Will Also
- Unload and accept deliveries from external suppliers, advising the Warehouse Deputy Team Leader and or Mentor of any discrepancies.
- To understand and comply with Health safety and compliance.
- Check delivery quantities with packing notes and buyers’ orders.
- Book stock into our retail WMS system.
- Locate the items received in the storage area.
- Involvement and understanding of basic stock management.
- Picking Retail shop deliveries via handheld terminal and paper picks.
