What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively task and monitor a Systems Engineering team in accordance with BAE Systems’ processes to deliver the contracted deliverables against the agreed schedule as directed by the Project Engineering Manager.
- Support the Project Engineering Manager in the delivery of budgeted tasks, bids, installations and support to first line delivery teams through the efficient employment and tasking of systems and hardware and product team.
- Prepare/review engineering estimates and schedules for review by the Project Engineering Manager and/or other parties.
- Provide support to proposal writing, costing and bidding
Your skills and experiences:
- A sound knowledge and experience of systems engineering principles is essential
- A sound knowledge of Systems’ engineering governance and lifecycle management processes
- Some knowledge of hardware and software engineering principles/issues would be beneficial

The Simulation & Training Team
The WPM will be working alongside a Project Engineering Manager, Project Manager and System Design Authority to manage a team of Technical Leads and Systems Engineers to deliver a complex training system. They will also need to liaise with other supporting teams including Software, Hardware, Safety and Security.’
