The Role
The CompEx Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and inspecting electrical systems in hazardous areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role involves working with various electrical equipment and systems, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring the safe operation of electrical installations. In addition, the role will work closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and inspect electrical systems in hazardous areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure the safe operation of electrical installations.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance.
- Monitor and report on the condition of electrical systems and equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
You will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills alongside the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards.
- CompEx certification.
- Extensive experience in electrical installations and maintenance in hazardous areas.
