Have you supported and enabled young people to shape and hone their creative voice? Are you experienced in leading engaging and inclusive programmes for diverse groups of young people? We are looking for a Young Leaders Developer to lead and support young people (including our Youth Advisory Board) to shape, create and deliver high‑quality programmes of work: ensuring young people play a meaningful, creative and influential role in the strategic direction of the RSC.
Our Creative Learning and Engagement work is driven by a commitment to social justice, whether empowering teachers in the classroom or inspiring young people to develop their own creative agency. The work we do in classrooms and communities re-imagines the way that young people engage with Shakespeare's plays and improves both life and learning outcomes. This role is central in championing youth voice across the organisation and is integral to ensuring young people's ideas, leadership and creative agency sit at the heart of what we do.

The RSC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Please note that all employees of the Creative Learning and Engagement team are required to undergo enhanced checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). No offer of employment will be made until references have been checked.
This is a full‑time, permanent position based in Stratford‑upon‑Avon, with some flexibility for hybrid working.
You will be working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday although occasional evening and weekend work will be required, particularly to support residential activity. The role sits within the Creative Learning and Engagement department and works closely with the RSC Board, artistic, production and teams across the organisation.
