We are seeking both experienced and new Youth Support Workers to support the deliver of sessions for young people aged 10 to 19 on evenings within the Bassetlaw Youth Work Team. Evening sessions times are 6pm to 8.30pm. This is a term time only position
Please note the posts available are based at Retford Young People Centre (DN22 6EA) and Bircotes Young People Centre (DN11 8EF) . The posts are working directly with young people in an evening.
We Are Seeking People Who Can
- Build positive relationships with young people aged 10 to 19
- Work as a team member to deliver and manage positive activities during the session to young people.
- Be able to complete training including induction and level 2 Youth Work qualification. (Please note this will include some Saturday training estimated 9 Saturdays sessions plus some evening training online and in person.
- Be able to be responsive to change during the session and work as a team to resolve any issues.
- Be a positive role model to young people.
