Lead Occupational Therapist/ Team Lead Nursing Community Rehabilitation Team Mental Health

The HSCP has undergone a significant management re-structure which has aligned the delivery into service areas. We have been able to review the management arrangements that we require for the challenges of the future, and we recognise the need to provide our teams with additional leadership support and management capacity. This is an exciting time for the service as it continues to take forward a range of improvements designed to provide better outcomes for people but also create a positive place to work. The Team Lead Occupational Therapist/ Team Lead Nursing for Community Rehabilitation will provide a pivotal role in ensuring that we are able to deliver the ambitions that we have and ensuring that teams are well supported in their roles.

You must either be a Registered Mental Health Nurse or a Registered Occupational Therapist with the necessary mental health experience and skills to lead multiagency teams.

You should have considerable experience of providing leadership, professional support and supervision to staff.

You should have a sound understanding of the principles and practice of which promotes independence and choice.

You should demonstrate an ability to make complex, contentious decisions and communicate them effectively and sensitively, managing any conflict that may arise.

An understanding of the governance and assurance mechanisms within which the HSCP operates is desirable.
