Working closely with the Acting Chief Medical Officer, you will bring visible, inclusive leadership, building trust quickly and working with teams, not over them, to support delivery and positive culture change across our Back on Trackprogrammes for 2026/27. Key Priorities

Qualifications

Essential

• Current registration and licence to practise
• Success in a previous management role (Divisional / Clinical Director, Associate Medical Director, Clinical Lead or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of professional and occupational regulation (GMC Good Medical Practice 2024; MHPS), Revalidation,
• Good working relationships and credibility with professional colleagues and relevant stakeholders.

Uses evidence to make improvements.

Proven leadership skills, including networking skills.

NHS quality improvement programmes (e.g. GIRFT; Model Hospital; NHS Impact)

Desirable

• Previous experience of leading professional and occupational regulation requirements including GMC Good Medical Practice 2024; MHPS), Revalidation, and Job Planning

• Experience in a senior clinical leadership role
