About the Role
CAMHS Professionals is recruiting a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to deliver face-to-face adult autism assessments in Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a clinician with ADOS and/or ADI-R expertise to contribute to a high-quality diagnostic pathway, making a real difference to adults seeking clarity around an autism diagnosis.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be conducting face-to-face ADOS and/or ADI-R assessments with adult patients as part of an established autism diagnostic pathway. Working within a structured, supportive framework, you'll bring your clinical expertise to deliver thorough, compassionate assessments and contribute to the diagnostic process.
Requirements
- ✅ Registered Nurse (RMN, RNLD, or RGN) — essential
- ✅ Qualified in ADOS and/or ADI-R — essential
- ✅ Minimum 6 months – 1 year hands-on experience conducting ADOS and/or ADI-R assessments — essential
- Experience working with adult patients in an autism or neurodevelopmental pathway
- Current NMC registration with no restrictions
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to travel to and work face-to-face within Devon
Location
Devon. This is a face-to-face role — candidates must be able to attend in person and be based within a commutable distance.
