What does the job involve?
Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farm is the world’s largest offshore windfarm in construction. It is being developed in 3 phases (A, B and C) with a total of 277 turbines installed across the entire project. During the operations phase, maintenance of the wind farm will be conducted from 4 Service Operations Vessels (SOVs) each equipped with a Daughter Craft (DC). The O&M Base including the logistics warehouse is located at Port of Tyne, South Tyneside. Adjacent is Equinor’s UK Central Control Room and technical competence centre for engineering support.
Asset Integrity are looking to recruit an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer to strengthen our Dogger Bank O&M Team. By joining Asset Integrity, you will have the opportunity work with a team of discipline engineers including Turbine, HVDC, Mechanical, Electrical and Lifting specialists.
What will my tasks be?
Within This Position, Your Key Tasks Will Be To
Support management of Life Cycle Information (LCI) to ensure accurate information is maintained for the operational assets. Some infrequent offshore visits to support maintenance and fault-finding activities may be requested.

An Excellent Technical Understanding Of Automation, Controls, Telecoms And Operational Technology Equipment, Preferably From An Operations And Maintenance Background. In Addition To This, The Following Attributes And Work Experience Would Be Viewed Favorably
- + 10 years’ experience working in automation and control systems within offshore wind and / or offshore oil and gas industry.
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelors Engineering degree (Sufficient level of experience working in a similar role may compensate for formal qualifications).
Wind farm control systems design and implementation experience highly preferred. Other secure industries considered such as O&G, Nuclear etc.SCADA / equivalent system design, specification, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting experience required. Cyber security risk assessment and mitigation nice to have.Telecoms systems including analogue and digital radio, LTE, CCTV and multiplexing nice to have.
