The Automation Developer will support the delivery of intelligent automation and digital process improvement across both Trusts.
Develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using Blue Prism, following established standards and best practice.
Assist in the design and implementation of Microsoft Power Platform applications, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, and service leads to translate business requirements into effective automation solutions.
Maintain and enhance existing automations, ensuring reliability and ongoing value.
Produce technical documentation, reusable components, and accurate process records.
Support users and colleagues in understanding and adopting automated solutions.
Ensure compliance with Information Governance, data protection, and cybersecurity requirements.
Contribute to process improvement, testing, and innovation activities within the automation team.
Participate in knowledge-sharing and skill-building across the wider digital team.

Working as a partnership, both Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust have a shared vision for excellence in care for our patients and communities; with a set of strategic aims underpinning how we will achieve this.
The single corporate service is delivered across both organisation. You may be based at either IWT or PHU and individuals may be required to undertake business travel between sites. For leaders managing staff across multi-site locations, you will need to be visible and provide in person leadership. The arrangements and frequency will be agreed locally.
