We are seeking compassionate, reliable and motivated Bank Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our temporary staffing workforce. This is an excellent opportunity to work flexibly across a variety of clinical areas while supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
As a Bank HCA, you will work alongside registered nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective and compassionate care to patients across our wards.
Job description
The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) plays a vital role in supporting registered nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
The post holder will assist with basic clinical and non-clinical duties, ensuring patients are cared for safely, respectfully, and with dignity at all times.
Person specification
Experience
Essential
- 6 months paid NHS experience in the last 3 years as a Healthcare Assistant
- Basic IT skills
- Physically able to undertake patient care duties, including manual handling
Desirable
- NVQ Level 2 (or willingness to work towards)
- Care Certificate (or willingness to complete)
