Domiciliary Care Worker - Days or Nights available (Full Time)

Location: Southport

Pay: £13.51 per hour

Choices Homecare are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our day team in Southport. We are currently looking for 2-3 full-time care worker to support individuals within one of our 24-hour care services.

While we are a domiciliary care provider, this role is not a home-to-home (community-based) position. Instead, you will be based in one dedicated 24-hour package, providing consistent, person-centred support in a single setting.

About The Role

• Hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm OR 7.00pm - 7.00am (Waking Night)
• Contract: Full-time (minimum 3 shifts per week)
• Working Pattern: Must be able to work alternative weekends and bank holidays
• Travel: Applicants must be able to reliably travel to and from the service location
  
  

You will be supporting individuals to live safely, independently, and with dignity, empowering them to live the life they choose within a stable and familiar environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Assisting with medication administration and documentation
• Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition and hydration
• Promoting independence and daily living skills
• Building positive relationships with service users and families
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and recognising changes in behaviour
• Maintaining accurate records and effective communication

What You’ll Need

• A caring, compassionate, and positive attitude
• A strong commitment to person-centred care
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience is preferred but not essential - full training provided
• Ability to travel reliably, including weekends and bank holidays
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred
