This job opportunity is for a Clinical Advisor position at IC24, located in Kent. IC24 is a not for profit Social Enterprise that provides innovative and patient-focused primary care services. As a Clinical Advisor, you'll be integral to the NHS 111 urgent care system, providing compassionate clinical advice and management to patients in need. You will utilize your clinical expertise and communication skills to conduct complex phone-based triage, supply self-care advice, refer patients as needed, and support call handlers in high-pressure situations. Candidates must be registered Nurses or Paramedics with at least two years of experience in primary care or Emergency Department settings.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Advisor role at IC24 requires registered Nurses or Paramedics with two years of recent experience in primary care or Emergency Department settings. As an NHS 111 Clinical Advisor, you will offer key support within the urgent care system, managing a range of patient presentations from physical illnesses to mental health concerns, providing timely and compassionate advice. Your responsibilities include phone-based triage, patient risk assessment, delivering self-care advice, and supporting call handlers during critical incidents to ensure optimal patient outcomes. After six months, hybrid working may be available. This role is for professionals with sound judgment and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
