Description
The post holder will be based within the Community Mental Health Team for Older Adults (CMHTOA) in Huts 3 & 4, Falkirk Community Hospital.
As part of the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team the post holder will provide specialist mental health reviews and treatment for people who are mainly over 65 years old and living in the community, using appropriate assessments, implementing evidence based clinical interventions and promoting mental health awareness and well-being within the wider community.
The post holder has responsibility for managing their own community- based caseload for people with mental health needs and providing clinical support to CSW.
We are seeking a dynamic and forward thinking nurse. Experience working in older adult is essential. Experience working within a community mental health setting would be advantageous.
The post holder will work across the Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership to provide a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary community mental health service to patients and carers in partnership with other agencies.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
