The postholder will provide general paediatric outpatient services at locations across Ayrshire and Arran. The postholder will be expected to have or to develop skills in Paediatric rheumatology and lead that service. There will be support and training available to develop this role. The postholder will be responsible for the Bowel management clinic with experienced nursing support.
The postholder will contribute to Educational Supervision and training of resident doctors at tier 1 and tier 2 level. The Paediatric Department has a healthy risk management and QI ethos with opportunity to contribute to both.
There may be opportunity to develop a personal interest depending on the needs of the Department.
