Scope Of The Role
The CSA Estimator will be responsible for the preparation of an accurate and detailed Civil, Structural and Architectural estimate with assistance from the pre-construction team. The successful candidate will prepare a Bill of Quantities using 2D drawings, and or BIM models, identifying at the outset which is most efficient for each project. Engage with the local supply chain to obtain current market quotes for incorporation into each tender. Produce an accurate, fully priced bid encapsulating all works required by the client requirements and complete the Client Pricing Document(s) for submission to the Client.
Key Responsibilities
- Bid Management: work closely with the Lead estimator and other pre-construction team members, complete the estimate and present to the Group CSA Estimation Manager
- Document Control: Tender Document Control for each bid. Analyse drawings, specifications, tender addenda and all other documentation to ascertain what work elements need to be measured and priced for inclusion in the BoQ
