The Hertfordshire Special Care Dental service are looking for two Team Leader roles to support expansion of our nationally award winning service.
Are you a dedicated professional with superb leadership skills hoping for a position that allows you to make a difference working with a dedicated and outstanding team? If so the award winning Hertfordshire Community Trust's Special Care Dental Service may be the organisation for you.
Previous experience of working in a special care dental team is desirable but not an essential requirement.

Training and Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Dental Nurse/Nurse or Allied Professional.
Desirable
- A qualification and/or training in clinical leadership
- Experience working with patients who have special needs
Experience
Essential
- Experience of providing Line Management including pastoral support.
- Experience of initiating service development which led to a positive change.
- Experience of leading a team.
Desirable
- Experience of working in a dental setting.
Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- High level of communication skills (written and verbal).
- Digital competency.
Desirable
- Experience of dental software R4
Personal Abilities
Essential
- Ability to support good team working.
- Good organisational skills and an ability to manage own workload.
- Ability to work independently, reliably, and consistently.

- Willingness to uphold the Trust's values.
- Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
