We are seeking an exceptional leader to join East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust as Deputy Director of People – Organisational Development, Leadership & Culture. This is a pivotal senior management role, supporting the Director of People in delivering a high-quality, professional HR service across the Trust.
The post-holder will lead on strategic programmes and initiatives designed to ensure our workforce is engaged, well-supported, well-led, and highly motivated
. You will drive transformation through the development and implementation of Leadership Development, Culture, Talent Management, and Organisational Development strategies, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent and enabling our people to deliver the Trust’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of organisational development strategies that foster a culture aligned with the Trust’s vision and values.
- Oversee leadership development programmes, talent management processes, and initiatives that support workforce engagement and retention.
- Drive cultural transformation to instil clinical, professional, and managerial excellence with sensitivity to individual needs.
- Provide corporate leadership for Organisational Development, Leadership, and Culture functions.
- Ensure the Trust understands its workforce and implements effective support mechanisms, including child and family care services.
