What to expect
The Divisional Manager is a senior member of the Commercial Operations team, responsible for the development and delivery of functional strategies, role always modelling the Post Office behaviours and demonstrating a Partner first mindset.
The Divisional Manager will manage a team of 6 Independent Account Leads dedicated to partnering with operators to drive revenue growth. Responsible for the oversight of roughly 1650 Operators within their area, they will identify and develop growth opportunities with key partners while guiding the team to elevate operator and branch performance across the division.
This role champions a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance, ensuring delivery of growth with key operators and acting as the voice of regional operators to internal stakeholders. Embracing the new operating model, they will lead change with clarity, enabling effective decision-making across the business, customers, and partners.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive experience managing large field based teams within Retail: In addition you will possess:
• Substantial experience convening multiple stakeholders and through successful relationships, leading key cross-functional projects to drive results across the organisation
• Experience in leading and driving change aligned to functional and business strategies
• Be an empowering Senior Manager who can speak with knowledge, authority, and confidence in their subject matter, guiding their team toward success
• An understanding of data privacy laws, governance, risk, and budget management
• Advanced influencing and communication skills; using a range of techniques to deliver messages effectively make an impact and drive a successful outcome
• Ability to maintain strong and influential relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders to build support for business plans
• Strong commercial business acumen and ability to make data-driven business decisions
