Role: Approved Electrician

Location: Cornwall, TR1

Pay Rate:£20.43 per hour PAYE

Duration: Temp to Perm

Hours: 48 Hours ,Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Job Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Approved Electrician to join a facilities maintenance team supporting multiple sites across Cornwall. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stability, overtime potential, and company-provided van and PPE.

The role involves carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works across three primary sites, along with occasional support to engineers in other locations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment
  • Carry out reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues
  • Support other engineers across additional sites when required
  • Ensure compliance with site-specific regulations, especially within secure environments


Mandatory Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • AM2 Certification
