Description
Role Purpose

Lead the delivery of FM compliance, inspections and quality assurance across the estate. You’ll provide governance, oversight and clear reporting to ensure strong operational performance and full statutory and contractual compliance.

Working with FM teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders, you’ll drive consistency, improve processes and use data to strengthen compliance and performance. You’ll also play a key role in shaping and embedding new systems, acting as the operational voice to ensure practical, effective solutions.

This is a visible leadership role—ideal for someone who can motivate teams, build capability and lead through change.

Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee FM compliance, inspections and assurance activity across the estate
  • Manage certification, records and compliance systems
  • Deliver clear reporting on performance, risks and improvements
  • Lead and govern the inspections programme, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Track and close actions, driving continuous improvement
  • Oversee vacant property inspections to ensure safety and readiness
  • Support FM system design, testing and rollout
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures and a Quality Management System
  • Collaborate on supplier performance and assurance frameworks
  • Ensure compliance across fleet operations
  • Lead, develop and support teams through change and transformation

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

  • Strong FM compliance and operations experience
  • Proven track record managing inspections, certification and assurance
  • Skilled in CAFM/FM systems, data analysis and reporting
  • Solid understanding of H&S and statutory compliance
  • Experience managing suppliers and performance
  • Confident leading teams and driving change
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
