Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a for a Health Records Manager to work within the Acute Services Referral Management Service. You will be responsible for appointment booking and waiting list validation across a range of our Acute out-patient services. You will have prime responsibility for managing all activities relating to Inreach services and waiting list initiatives including contact with National Elective Care Unit. You should have previous experience in Health Records and Waiting List procedures. You will be an excellent communicator and able to work independently and across multiple teams.
Hours And Shift Pattern
Hours of duty will be: Monday – Friday 8.45 am – 5pm (one day per week you will finish at 4.30pm but this will be agreed on appointment)
This post is offered on a secondment basis for a period of 6 months

The postholder will be responsible for managing referral pathways and waiting list management in line with national and local strategies, operational performance against standards or waiting time targets.
You are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered to a consistently high standard across all clinical areas within the Acute Hospitals and peripheral sites
