Community Staff Nurses are a valued part of our skill mix team, who work with the Named Health Visitor and Early Years Family Practitioners to empower Children, Young People and Families to make healthy lifestyle choices. Theyare able tooffer Healthy Child Programme contacts,identifyingwhen extra help may berequiredand offer theappropriate supportor signposting as needed under the direction of named Health Visitor.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills andbeable to build effective working relationships with a wide range of people. They will have exceptional time management and organisational skills anddemonstratea resilient,braveand connected mind set. The ability to travel throughout the Borough is essential and therefore a car driver would be preferable. Essential
- Evidence of continuing post-registration education and training.
- Working knowledge of regulatory processes and policy frameworks
- e.g. NMC Code, Standards of Proficiency, Every Child Matters, Healthy Child Programme.
- Experience of co-ordinating and supporting nursing care delivery in the relevant service area.

- Current registration with NMC as a Registered Nurse or Midwife.
