We’re seeking an Integrated Management Systems (IMS) Officer to play a key role within our Highways Services team, helping to maintain and enhance our ISO‑accredited management systems while supporting major infrastructure projects.
🔍 What’s involved?
In this varied role, you will:
- Manage and continuously improve the Integrated Management Systems (IMS) for Highway Services
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Support and manage permit applications for major highway projects
- Work collaboratively across services to drive quality, consistency and best practice
✅ What will you need?
We’re looking for someone with:
- 4 GCSEs (A–C) including English, Maths and Science
- A qualification in (or willingness to work towards) the New Roads and Street Works Act or Traffic Management Act
- An audit qualification or relevant auditing experience
- The willingness to undertake Lead Auditor training
- Experience working with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and documentation
- Experience working across multiple service areas
- Previous experience in highway services or a related field (desirable)
