The role of Computing Teacher – Learning Lead at Prior's Court
As a Computing Teacher – Learning Lead, you will deliver ambitious programmes of learning that uniquely support and challenge each young person to develop key skills to enable young people to live healthy, happy, independent lives after leaving Prior’s Court.
You will manage assessment, timetabling, planning and development of individual learning plans, and guide learning to ensure students achieve their individual "I Can" statements and develop their Learning Journeys within relevant Areas of Learning. You will also ensure the long-term and medium-term plans for the identified Area of Learning / learning programme are relevant and up to date.
You will continually improve outcomes through coaching and mentoring of staff to ensure excellent teaching and learning practices.
You will be responsible for ensuring the progress of each young person in your cohort and area or programme of learning.
