Description

We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association based in Liverpool, who are recruiting for a Junior Housing Management Solicitor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.


Our client is a large affordable housing provider and developer in the North West of England, managing over 8,000 homes and operating as a major regeneration group


This is a full-time position with a salary of up to £43,601 per annum and the start date is subject to notice.


This role would suit a newly qualified Solicitor, or someone who wants to qualify and is looking for support.


Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a varied caseload including disrepair, rent arrears, nuisance, debt recovery and gas access injunctions
  • Preparing cases and representing the organisation at court and tribunal hearings
  • Working closely with housing and operational teams to provide practical, risk-based legal advice
  • Supporting the supervision of junior team members on key workstreams
  • Helping to identify legal and regulatory risks and implementing effective controls
  • Delivering or contributing to training for colleagues to build legal knowledge across the business
  • Building strong internal relationships to ensure a seamless, customer-focused service

  • Requirements:

    • Experience of handling housing management legal work, particularly disrepair matters
    • Confident preparing and presenting cases at court (excluding trials)
