KM241182 - Nurse Manager- Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Services

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Nurse Manager to join our Mental Health Services in Moray. This is a key leadership role within the Integrated Mental Health Service, providing senior management and professional leadership to nursing across a wide range of services.

The post holder will lead and support nursing teams across:

• Adult Mental Health (inpatient and community)
• Older Adult Mental Health (inpatient and community)
• Drug and Alcohol Services
• Liaison and Unscheduled Care
  
  

This role carries delegated responsibility for specific service areas and a defined portfolio of work, which may include responsibilities extending across NHS Grampian. The post holder will also provide deputy and cross‑cover support for the Lead Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong, visible leadership and professional support to nursing teams across inpatient and community settings.
• Lead on the delivery of safe, effective, and person‑centred nursing care.
• Ensure high standards of clinical practice, staff governance, and quality improvement.
• Contribute to service development, strategic planning, and workforce management.

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, partner agencies, and senior managers.

Support the Lead Nurse through delegated responsibilities and by providing deputy cover as required.

Ensure effective use of resources and support a positive, compassionate team culture.

About You

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, office hours
