Buckler’s Lodge is a modern residential and dementia care home in a stunning purpose-built home surrounded by nature in Crowthorne, near Wokingham, Buckler’s Lodge is a vibrant and welcoming 24/7 community of care where residents and their families enjoy award-winning residential and dementia care.
Residents are cared for with a well-established methodology that is centred on keeping them as independent as possible for as long as possible. The location offers:

Residents are cared for with a well-established methodology that is centred on keeping them as independent as possible for as long as possible. The location offers:
- Stunning grounds and views
- To ensure that laundry is identified for appropriate loads
- To be responsible for the maintenance of the laundry equipment and the daily de-fluffing of the dryer, reporting any defects to the senior member of staff on duty.
- To ensure that soiled and infectious linen is kept separate and washed accordingly
- To distribute clothes into the residents rooms
- To ensure the correct marking of the residents clothes
- To keep the laundry room and store area tidy, clean and hygienic
- An understanding of the importance of high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in care homes (Essential)
- Ability to work unsupervised (Essential)
- Ability to manage basic documentation e.g. marking on residents clothing (Essential)
- Ability to demonstrate understanding and applying our workplace values (Essential)
