Lecturer Salary scale points 30 - 31

£38,026 - £39,279 per annum

Plus, an additional recruitment and retention premia is available building to a total maximum salary of £43,069 per annum.

864 Teaching hours per annum

Working at SSMS you almost get a one for one leave ratio if you include your 48 days leave and weekends. The working week is 37 hours Monday to Friday – you don’t get that at sea! We have an attractive pension scheme should you wish to join as well as many other benefits.

Tyne Coast College was created from the merger of South Tyneside College and South Shields Marine School, with TyneMet College and Queen Alexandra Sixth Form.
