We have a Maintenance Operative - Fabric opportunity on a 6‑month fixed term contract, operating as a mobile role supporting the Ashtead region and surrounding patch. A van and tools will be provided.
The Details
- Salary: From £29,000 per annum
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:00
- Contract: Fixed Term - 6 Months
- Location: Mobile across Ashtead, Caterham, Dorking, Leatherhead, Reigate and surrounding areas
- Qualification Required: NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery (essential)
Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Operative - Fabric, you will carry out essential fabric and carpentry tasks across NHSPS sites, including:
- Fire door inspections
- Remedial and repair work
- Work on locks, windows, doors and general fabric elements
- Supporting safe, compliant, well‑maintained premises
Where You'll Be
This is a mobile role, providing fabric maintenance support across NHS Property Services premises within your designated Ashtead patch. A company vehicle will be supplied.
