An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Band 5 / Band 6 Registered Nurses to join the team on Rockingham Elective Orthopaedic Ward.
Rockingham is a busy, ring-fenced elective ward with capacity to accept up to 8 trauma patients.
We are seeking an innovative, individual who is approachable, calm under pressure and has excellent people skills to join our friendly and supportive team. You need to have experience in prioritising your workload to include excellent staff management and first class patient care from admission through to timely and safe discharge planning. The ideal candidates should have post registration experience ideally in a surgical environment, be motivated and enthusiastic, possess excellent communication skills, be a team player and wish to consolidate/develop their surgical skills as well as others skills. This is a clinical post and the successful candidate will be expected to support the Band 7 in providing strong leadership, managing the ward and improving / maintaining standards whilst providing support to all MDT members, patients and their families.
