PCN Manager (on behalf of Chapeltown PCN)

The PCN Manager is a key member of the leadership team, alongside the Clinical Director (approx. one day per week) and board members (appointed by each practice).

The postholder will support strategic planning and ensure that decisions are implemented successfully. This work will reflect the following priorities;

- The development of neighbourhood health, and what this means in reality for the PCN area

- Pilots and longer-term projects supporting the move from hospital to community

- Increasing focus on prevention, and how funding can be secured/released for this

- Digital transformation and innovation

Person specification

Experience

Essential

• - Strategic leadership, ideally including change management
• - Operational management, ideally working with multiple teams spread across different sites
• - Digital transformation, ideally including assessing risk and impact, particularly around AI

- Staff management, ideally including coaching other managers

- Compliance, ideally in a regulated environment, but certainly including data protection and health & safety

- Stakeholder engagement, ideally ranging from grassroots organisations through to regional or national partners/commissioners

- Equity, diversity and inclusion, ideally including experience of meaningful engagement with individuals and communities facing barriers to accessing services

Desirable

• - NHS or primary care management
