What does Platform Operations look like at Ascot Lloyd?
This role is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment during a period of continued expansion and enhancement of our platform capabilities.
You’ll act as a central point of contact for our platform partner and key internal stakeholders, leading the Platform Operations Team to monitor transactional data, identify and resolve incidents, and manage change across the platform environment. The team also supports wider operational functions linked to asset migration into our core platform partners, ensuring alignment with strategic direction provided by the Product function. You will assess training needs across the business and maintain an accessible training environment, while identifying and driving opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service quality.

You’ll act as a central point of contact for our platform partner and key internal stakeholders, leading the Platform Operations Team to monitor transactional data, identify and resolve incidents, and manage change across the platform environment. The team also supports wider operational functions linked to asset migration into our core platform partners, ensuring alignment with strategic direction provided by the Product function. You will assess training needs across the business and maintain an accessible training environment, while identifying and driving opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service quality.

- overseeing daily operational activity across the Ascot Lloyd Platform, including proactive monitoring of transactional data, incident identification and resolution, and ongoing change management to support a stable and efficient ecosystem.
- implementing and maintaining clear operational processes and procedures that support platform development and optimisation, aligned to strategic direction from the Product function.
- supporting the continued delivery of CIP solutions via the Ascot Lloyd Platform, partnering with the Investment Team and platform counterparts to ensure accurate configuration, smooth operation and timely updates.
- ensuring timely delivery of clear, client-facing platform communications, including regulatory materials, onboarding documentation and migration updates.
- managing and coordinating operational functions related to asset migration with our core platform partners, ensuring a controlled, accurate and timely approach across all phases.
- acting as a central point of contact for platform partners and internal stakeholders to align operational delivery with business objectives.
- working closely with the Product function so operational activities—including platform improvements and asset migration—track to strategic priorities and timelines.
- leading and developing the Platform Operations Team, embedding Ascot Lloyd values and ensuring the team has the training needed to perform in a mature platform environment.
- establishing and monitoring robust performance metrics across fund transactions, cash positions, plan transfers, asset migration and operational throughput (team and partner).
- maintaining high-quality record keeping across data analysis, incident management, migration tracking and MI production for stakeholders and steering groups.
- maintaining a strong awareness of operational risk, ensuring practices, controls and processes reflect regulatory expectations, platform-specific risks and the firm’s risk framework.
- proven experience leading and developing multi-disciplined teams; resilient and able to multi-task under pressure as priorities evolve.
- deep working knowledge of retail investment platforms—their functionality and data—and applying that knowledge to enhance CRM environments.
