The Opportunity

We are looking for a Control Room Coordinator to join our Portfolio Management Office (PMO) – a function at the heart of operational insight and executive reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in PMO or project controls in construction or other operational sectors including manufacturing, automotive or aerospace. If you know how to turn project information into meaningful insights and actions, we would love to hear from you.

What will the role look like?

You will report to the Control Room Lead and play a key role coordinating key performance data from multiple projects and functions. Your work will contribute directly to monthly reporting and help support strategic decision-making.

You Will

  • Coordinate tasks and track actions to maintain momentum and visibility.
  • Gather and organise data from project and functions to support dashboards, trends analysis and insight reporting.
  • Improve data sources and data generation, particularly in relation to the risk and opportunity management process.
  • Improve how data is integrated across the portfolio to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support structured project controls reviews and cross-functional workshops.

  • What skills & experience are we looking for?

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is Curious, Organised, Analytical, And Committed To Improving How Data Is Used Across The Business. You Will Bring

    • Strong data and reporting skills (Power BI, MS Excel, or project management tools).
    • Experience in managing structured reporting cycles and improving how data is presented.
    • Understanding of executive reporting, performance metrics, leading indicators, and project controls.
    • Commercial awareness, including understanding how financial, cost or risk-related project controls influence portfolio performance.
    • A collaborative and detail-focused mindset, with a passion for turning complex data into clear insight.

    Ideal Background

We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

    • Background as a PMO Analyst, Project Controller, or Portfolio Coordination role in a project delivery environment (desirable).
  • Commercial acumen (desirable).
  • Experience working across functions and combining multiple data sets into one clear narrative.
  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace.
  • Experience supporting portfolio management, reporting, or planning functions (not IT PMO).
