Laing O'Rourke is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement on a landmark life sciences project. You will drive a best-in-class procurement service, engaging with the supply chain to deliver maximum value for the project and the business.

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement on a landmark life sciences project. You will drive a best-in-class procurement service, engaging with the supply chain to deliver maximum value for the project and the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement of subcontractors, materials, plant, and services in line with Project Procurement Strategy and LOR values.
- Provide market intelligence, cost advice, and supply chain performance feedback.
- Manage and develop a team of procurement professionals.
- Champion in-house opportunities through DfMA and self-delivery.
- Ensure ethical, compliant procurement practices and monitor markets to mitigate risk.
- Promote innovation through materials, systems, and methods to improve cost efficiency and competitive advantage.
- Attend senior leadership and Business Plan Review meetings as required.
- Extensive construction industry experience with strong knowledge of interfaces and relationships.
